Greeting from Taos, The New Mexican summer has been mighty hot, but the
recent rains have brought a bounty of cactus flowers to delight my
daily ten-mile mountain biking. I have recently completed my fourth
book, and posted five new jewelry kits
from the third book;
both books are due out this coming fall. I will be teaching at the
Bead Fest Philadelphia in August and at the Bead Society of New Mexico
in September; visit my workshop page for
more details. If you have any questions, comments, or PG-13 jokes,
send me an email below. |

My personal quest of chain development started thirteen years ago by utilizing the geometry of Pi to quantify the ancient Byzantine chain. With a deeper insight and appreciation, I began to develop linear, geometric, radial, and organic derivative chain designs to be complimented with or without bead embellishments. To date I have handcrafted 722 jewelry pieces, each saluted with a three-digit-number index ring, originating over 100 unique chain designs. Over the past nine years I have led a variety of beaded chain workshops through public and private educational institutions. The accumulation of these experiences has lead to the publishing of the first, second, and upcoming third book in a series on handcrafting chain jewelry adventures, printed by Watson-Guptill Publications (Random House) in NYC. |
